= FNRS Postdoctoral Fellowship at Université de Liège
Le Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) offers three-year postdoctoral fellowships in its associated groups. The net salary will be about 2000 euros/month. Please refer to the end of this announcement for the exact rules governing these fellowships.
The IFPA group at the Université de Liège would welcome the opportunity to sponsor and host individuals interested in pursuing postdoctoral research in astroparticle physics. Our group consists of 5 permanent members (J.R. Cudell, Y. de Rop, D. Husemekers, J. Cugnon, and I. Stancu), one long-term scientific staff (I.P. Ivanov), 6 postdocs, and 4 graduate students. Our group studies many aspects of particle physics, from low-energy nuclear physics to the LHC, as well as problems related to astrophysics (dark matter, ALPs, cosmological consequences of extensions of the standard model...).
We are at present looking for researchers interested in:
- models of composite dark matter;
- high-energy cosmic rays;
- angular momentum in initial-state beams.
Individuals interested in being sponsored for this FNRS - administered program should send a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a research statement and two letters of reference, to J.R. Cudell BEFORE MAY 31st.
Rules governing the fellowship:
- The candidate must have a doctoral degree at the time of application, and must have had it for less than 6 years at the time of hiring.
- This announcement is directed towards non-residents of Belgium.
- The deadline is May 31st (the decision is taken in November to start January 1st)
