FNRS Aspirant

The IFPA group at the Université de Liège would welcome the opportunity to host individuals interested in pursuing doctoral research in astroparticle physics or cosmology. Our group consists of 3 permanent members (J.R. Cudell, Y. de Rop, D. Hutsemékers), 4 postdocs, and 2 graduate students. Our group studies many aspects of particle physics, as well as problems related to astrophysics (dark matter, cosmic ray showers, AGN polarization and large-scale structures...).

The applications must be encoded in the SEMAPHORE platform. After submission, it must be validated by a Belgian promoter and by the head of his/her university. If you are interested to apply, please send an e-mail to J.R. Cudell with your CV, a research statement, a list of publications (if applicable) and one letter of recommendation before January 31.

• Decision end of June to start Oct. 1st. The post is for 24 months, renewable once.

• The candidate must have obtained a Master degree after March 11, 2012, and obtain its equivalence to a Belgian degree before 10/03/2015. The procedure takes at least 1 month.

• A functioning grant of 5000 euros/2 years will be given to the successful candidate.
