Interactions Fondamentales en Physique et en Astrophysique et Ondes Gravitatonnelles
The IFPA&OG groups on the one hand studies the consequences of theoretical models in Particle Physics (axions, hidden sector) on astrophysical observables. The group also studies physics related to high-energy colliders (TeVatron, LHC) and cosmic rays and high-energy neutrinos. On the other hand, as a member of the Virgo collaboration, it is also involved in the analysis of gravitational wave data — in particular burst data and lensing signals, and in the use of machine learning for these analyses.
