This discussion board will serve as a place where you may ask questions, provide answers and generally discuss the contents taught as part of the Introduction to Quantum Field Theory course for autumn 2017.

Some guidelines

• Apart from the usual responsibilities that come with posting to an open board, please note that messages posted to this discussion forum will also be seen by instructors administering the course, who may want to respond with a solution to a question you might pose here and so on. Accordingly, please keep discussions civil and non-disparaging.
• Unless you have an account on the wiki, posting will be anonymous, but your IP address will be logged as part of your post. Optionally, you may manually sign off your message by appending something like --Your Name Here at the end of the message.
• Please respect the topic of each thread, and open a new thread for each new topic of discussion.
• The forum is strictly unofficial, meaning this is not the place for official course related announcements, which will always be conveyed either in the class or via emails as appropriate. Instructors may also post announcements here from time to time, but this is by no means guaranteed. The only reliable means of getting official information about the course is by asking the instructors directly, or via email.
• If you are not conversant with writing on a wiki already, you may find this cheat-sheet useful.
